I can’t believe where the time has gone this year! I have had a very busy past few weeks which has included meeting both my clients and candidates. I have generally had a great month and received a number of offers for my candidates with a majority starting their new roles in November. Things definitely seem to be picking up and let’s hope that continues into next year.

Another week has flown by in the wonderful world of pensions recruitment.
This week I have been extremely busy with new roles, particularly on the Client Management front. Our clients are clearly doing something right in winning new business to create these roles.
Things are definitely looking up week by week and let’s hope this continues.

It is so exciting when a client calls in to offer a candidate a new position, and even better when the candidate accepts. In my world as recruitment consultant this has really slowed up for 2009, however it has given me the opportunity to use the

Some encouraging signs this week that the jobs market is picking up. We have had a major client lift their recruitment freeze and begin interviewing candidates which is excellent and we hope this bodes well for the rest of the industry.
Other good news this week is that our Senior Consultant, Hayley Brockwell had a baby boy, Kaleb born yesterday afternoon, weighing in at 7lb 6oz. Many congratulations to Hayley and Toby.

This week has seen the announcement of the Pension Scheme of the Year Awards 2009 Winners and BranWell Ford would like to congratulate all who were successful, as well as all nominees. I am sure a good time was had by all at the awards dinner and there are a few sore heads today.

I am pleased to advise that BranWell Ford will be exhibiting at the Professional Pensions Show 2009 at Excel on the 18th and 19th of November, so please put this in your diary and come and speak to any of the team. Other great news, the pensions recruitment marketplace is starting to move again. Our
stats are showing that the level of candidates registering has dropped and vacancies have started to increase. There are some issues regarding sign off at the final stages of interview but companies are working very hard within HR and the finance teams to move this along quickly. I am very pleased, it means that there is some stability returning to our market.Posted at 09:20 AM in BranWell Ford News | Permalink | Comments (0) | TrackBack (0)
As you may already be aware, today is my last day before going onto maternity leave. However, I have been kept very busy this week, which has been a successful week for BranWell Ford in finding some excellent positions for our candidates. It looks like the summer lull, which has been worse then usual this year, may be lifting. My colleagues here are certainly looking forward to a busy few months – although I will have my hands full with entirely different matters! If I don't speak to you before I go, good luck with your job search and I hope we are successful in finding your ideal role.

As most of you are aware I have recently joined BranWell Ford as a new consultant and will be covering my colleague Hayley’s desk whilst she is away on maternity leave. During these quiet times due to holiday season, it has been great for me as it has been a very busy couple of months. I have been learning new processes within BranWell Ford and the Pensions Industry. I am now up to speed and currently working on a number of exciting vacancies across the United Kingdom within Pensions Administration and Flexible Benefits. I look forward to working with you all and making a mark within the industry.
