As the jobs market tightens and more candidates enter the market, it is vital that those who are seeking work have an open and honest relationship with their recruiter of choice. We are increasingly finding that candidates are often having their CVs submitted to jobs without their consent. Some agencies are discussing vacancies with candidates but will not reveal who their 'client' is. I would urge all candidates to ensure that they know exactly who has seen their CVs and keep a note to hand to remove the potential of duplications - something that does not reflect well on the candidate or the recruitment agency.
