Last week was incredibly hectic for us all at BranWell Ford as we had a stand at the Professional Pensions Show at the Excel Centre in London
So this was an entirely new experience for us and one that proved to far exceed our expectations! Not only were we able to meet our long standing clients again, which is always great but also made many new contacts and registered some very interesting new pensions roles from this. Many of the delegates attending were old friends of Branwell Ford and it was good to meet and exchange views on the market. It was also a good opportunity for people in the unfortunate position of facing redundancy to come along for some advice on how to proceed and how to best promote their skills and experience to a new employer.
Throughout the 2 days we were supporting the international charity “Help the Aged”. For every person that visited our stand and donated their business card, BranWell Ford converted the business cards into cash. We felt that 'Help the Aged' is extremely relevant to the industry that we recruit for and we are very aware of the implications of an ageing population on pension provisions. Our donation to this deserving charity was £160.
We were very pleased with the whole experience even though we all suffered with sore feet for a few days afterwards.
